   Hi Roy I hope so last night was particularly bad , what about parking our cars along the roads making it difficult for lorries to use , that should force them to use the correct diversion

     It’s a good idea Lisa. But I think the drivers would still use the road. Plus you have the risk of damage to your car. I know its a pain but we have to keep bombarding the councillors and highways dept till they get fed up of the complaints. Let’s hope the proposed new layout comes to fruition. Many thanks for your support, if it gets any worse we might have to do your idea👍

   The Southern Bypass isn’t what it seems. It’s an estate road for the St John’s Grange housing development of 450 plus houses. It’s a road to nowhere.

     Hi Alastair
     I know what your saying, but when they put the weight restrictions on St John’s Street and trent valley road/church St/ Birmingham Road. It will form bypasses around Lichfield Town centre. The map shown to me by SCC indicates that only HGVs delivering will be allowed within the perimeter of the town centre.
