Hi Maryanne,
You haven’t answered my question !!
What would you do if the whole of the A5/A38 Traffic started coming through Lichfield Both ways in the Day time?.
Have you a Strategy in Place for this eventuality.?
As for your last paragraph. We don’t have a problem with the Diversion Route. You have already agreed the route with Highways England and we agree its the most appropriate.
We have the issue of HGVS not adhering to it !!!. and being allowed to get away with it.
Your explanation just reiterates there is no need for diversion routes. Just let the HGVS go where they want.?.
Will the investigation take into account the impending construction of Friarsgate and the new estate at Streethay ?
I would like to inform you we now have a website which be live in 3 days where the whole of Lichfield can get involved.

Is the behaviour of traffic at night being monitored because there seems to be a lot of lorries exceeding the 30 mph speed limit?
There are a lot of HGVs now going down St. John Street towards Swan link and mounting the pavement at the corner where the pelican crossing is situated.
Hi Gwyn
Thanks for joining
Do you mean near the Library?
That could be a police matter ring 101 and complain and get a reference
Near the library should be a weight restriction anyway!!
